I hate being so modern?

You see, I'm very talented with words and could be a great novelist because my life up to now has been so tragic and depressing that I could write stories about myself. I would like to write a book, but when I watch movies like Sylvia or The Hours, I see these fancy writers with their typewriters or fountain pens and it saddens me that we don't use that anymore. What's the point of writing a book in this day and age? They'll make the cover glossy and ugly. I want to live in the somewhere between 1910-1955. I hate laptops. I hate that in a biography of Leo Tolstoy, it says, ''He wrote Anna Karenina at Yasnaya Polyana,'' which is the name of his house, and my house doesn't have a name. I want to name it legally. I don't know if people do that today. People have ruined our society with modernity. You all ought to be ashamed.
