Would this be a good graduation song?

So, my digital film cl and I are making a graduation video for this years seniors. for the song, we really don't want to use "friends forever" by vitamin c or "time of your life" since they're so over used. My friends and I think that "everlong" by Foo Fighters would be a nice one to use. what do you guys think? PS. you can watch a video of it on youtube if you've never heard it.
