Mr. Smith (a convict at a prison) wanted to escape from the prison. He smuggled in a rope that was 15 feet in length. Although he had the rope, he unfortunately was 30 feet off the ground. Thus, the rope would not reach all the way to the ground. In sheer desperation he finally came up with a plan to escape. So that night, he cut his rope in half and escaped out his window and scaled the prison wall all the way down to the ground. He finally escaped and is now loose in the Elmira area. How did Mr. Smith escape from his window and scale down the wall without being hurt.
