Ex boyfriend troubles :/?

okaaay so i went out with this guy for a year and 2 months his names lucas, and well i just broke up with him cause he didnt respect me and i had to drive him everywhere and pay for anything we did together i even pitched in 50 dollars for his tux for prom. well i have a close guy friend who has liked me way before me and lucas started dating well i hadnt hung out with him since me and lucas started dating and me and Kris thats his name started talking again and he wants to take me to the movies (might i remind you that i just broke up with lucas on june 5th) and pay for my ticket and food well he is a great guy, but my question is, Is it wrong to hang out with him? or is it to early? i mean i dont want a relationship and kris knows that. i am in the wrong?
