Carpet beetles.................help?

You did the right thing, you just need to repeat it until all the eggs have hatched and you have sucked all the critters up. They hide eggs and the hatching time is one to 3 weeks. Weekly treatment with Borax and a very thorough vacuuming will do it in a month. You must get them before they reproduce again.
