Why is Jesus Christ a type of Ark like the Ark of the Covenant and Noah's Ark?

very interesting . I never gave that much thought. The bible is full of little tidbits of information that tie in together with other things in the bible. Such as the p over of the OT and the blood of Jesus in the NT. I love it! I will certainly give this more thought.
