i think you should tell your parents the truth and i am sure they will understand... don't take your friend's shoes... tell him to give you the money, and if can't (FOR ANY REASON), just forget about it... but don't exchange anything with him from now onwards... learn your lesson... save some money and buy your favorite shoes in some time... :)
