Has anyone ever used RegClean?

I am looking for a good registry cleaner. I tried JV16 power tools but had to reinstall Windows XP on one of my PCs, and it gave my PC health as 25% on my Vista machine. I came across a message board where someone recommends RegCure and tried it. It said it found 1020 erros on my PC, but I am wary of these as I have heard of scam software pretending to be good, but is actually malware. Any help appreciated - is RegCure genuine, and is it any good?
